What types of projects do you specialize in? +
Our specialty is pre move in full house renovations.
How long will my project take? +
If structural walls and layouts are not being changed most full home renovations can be completed in 60 to 120 days project dependent.
How do you handle permits and building code requirements? +
Permit packages are built by Secure Equity and submitted to the respected building department. We meet or exceed the most up to date Florida building code requirements.
Can I live in my home during the remodel? +
For smaller bathroom and kitchen remodels yes. For full home remodels we recommend finding subsequent housing for the duration of the project or until final building inspections have passed.
What areas do you serve? +
We serve a 45 minute driving radius from Dunedin which includes North St. Pete all the way up to New Port Richie and everything in between.
Do you work with flood zone properties? +
Yes, this is one of our specialties. We have completed numerous new construction, remodeling, and hurricane damaged homes located in flood zones.
Can you help with design or do I need to hire an architect separately? +
If the project does not involve structural changes we can directly help with the design. If structural changes are needed we can work hand in hand with one of our trusted and vetted architects.
What’s included in your estimate? +
We can tailor our estimates to any customer's needs, but generally our estimates include the costs for labor, rough-in materials, permits, debris removal, and inspections. Some customers prefer to purchase their own finish materials or we can include those costs as a budgeted item in the estimate. There are no hidden fees in our estimates— all costs are clearly communicated with our customers.
Are you licensed and insured? +
Yes, we hold our building contractor, roofing, and mechanical licenses with the state of Florida as well as workers comp and general liability insurance.
